Microcrystalline Cellulose:
Microcrystalline cellulose is used as a filler, binder and flow agent in SuperPress due to its high compressibility and load-bearing capacity. It exhibits excellent excipient properties for directly compressible solid dosage forms. It compacts well under minimum machine pressure; creates tablets that are extremely hard yet disintegrate quickly. It also has the advantage of low friability; inherent lubrication combined the highest dilution potential of all binders.

Magnesium Stearate:
Magnesium stearate is added to SuperPress to serve as a lubricant in the manufacture of medical tablets, capsules and powders. The substance is also useful in this regard, as it has non-stick properties, preventing ingredients from sticking to the production equipment during the compression of chemical powders into solid tablets, making it easier to remove from the machine and reducing capping; magnesium stearate is the most commonly used lubricant for tablets. Magnesium stearate also provides a smooth and glossy professional finish.

Silicon Dioxide:
Silicon dioxide mainly acts as an anti-caking agent and improves the fluidity of SuperPress. Silicon dioxide, also known as collidal silicon dioxide, has many other uses in tablet making, including as an anti-caking agent, adsorbent, disintegrant or lubricant to allow powder to flow freely when tablets are processed. These compounds appear to be biologically inert. Silicon dioxide is generally recognized as safe by the FDA.

Dicalcium Phosphate:
This excipient ensures that your tablets have a uniform content and increases the compressibility. This means that your tablets can be easily formed and solidified and are repeatable in the final tablet weight. Dicalcium Phosphate is also very liquid to ensure rapid tableting.
