6-APB, more commonly referred to as Benzo Fury, is a research chemical that has been available since 2010. It is renowned for its stimulant and psychedelic properties and is frequently likened to drugs such as XTC and Speed. This blog will explore in greater detail the overall experience associated with 6-APB.
What is 6 APB?
Benzo Fury (6-(2-aminopropyl)benzofuran) is a research chemical that falls under the class benzofuran. Check out other RCs of this type here. 6-APB has stimulant and hallucinogenic effects similar to the experience people have with amphetamines, such as MDMA or Speed. The drug was first discovered in 1993 by David Nichols
This benzo not the same as benzodiazepines
Many people shorten the research chemical Benzo Fury to Benzo, but this causes confusion because the same thing happens with the class of benzodiazepines. However, this group of research chemicals have completely different effects from 6 APB. Instead, the benzodiazepines have the effect of bringing sleep and sedation.
6-APB effects
There has been limited research conducted on the effects and risks of 6-APB, a research chemical (RC). Only a handful of online experience reports and studies are available, including the 'Drug Testing and Analysis' by A. Stanczuk et al. These researchers noted the arousal of emotional feelings and an increase in openness among subjects after administering 6-APB. In this respect, 6-APB shares similar effects to those induced by MDMA, for example. It also exhibits stimulant effects. This is attributable to the RC's impact on neurotransmitters like dopamine, which promotes serotonin, leading to feelings of happiness, and noradrenaline.
6-APB experience
Above all, people who have taken 6-APB feel energetic and awake. They experience euphoric feelings and are not easily tired. The urge to socialise increases and these people also experience more desire for sex. Self-confidence increases. When psychedelic effects also take place, people experience a change in sight, touch and smell. For example, colours seem more intense and they see things move. What is remarkable about this research chemical, however, is that the effects can vary greatly from person to person.
Potential risks of the research chemical
Since not much research has yet been done on Benzo Fury and the RC is offered in poor quality by some online providers, some risks do occur when ingesting the research chemical. These include things like:
- Increased heart rate
- Excessive body temperature
- Difficult breathing
- Chest pain
- Paranoia
- Anxiety
- Panic attacks
- Trouble sleeping
- Severe hangover after ingestion (with maximum duration of 2 days)
- Tense muscles
- Addiction risk
How do you ingest 6-APB?
This research chemical can be ingested as well as snorted. Want to research both research methods yourself? Check out our range of Benzo Fury here. There 6-APB experience of these ways of ingestion is generally that snorting is often perceived as unpleasant. This is because the fine granules of the powder enter directly into the lungs, temporarily blocking the airways.
How long do the effects of 6-APB last?
How long the effects of Benzo Fury last depends partly on the dosage, how the RC is taken and physical factors. The average time that the effects last is put at 7 to 10 hours. The research chemical does not take effect until an hour after ingestion. If the RC is taken several times, this duration may even increase. Also, when a person has eaten a lot before taking it, the effects last longer. At high doses, psychedelic effects also occur. Looking for another psychedelic substance? The right 6 APB dosage
Firstly, it is important to note that top-ups of this research chemical are not recommended, as the effects will last longer and so will the considerable hangover afterwards. For a mild effect, a 6-APB dosage of 40-70 milligrams is recommended. For a normal effect: 70-100 milligrams. For strong effects, a 6 APB dosage of 125 milligrams is listed.
