WHAT IS 4-FMA?

4FMA, full name 4-fluoromethamphetamine, is a research chemical introduced to the market as a replacement for the previously known and now illegal 4-FMP. It's a synthetic stimulant from the amphetamine class. It's recognized for its stimulating and empathetic effects, meaning it can induce both energy and a sense of emotional connectedness. 4FMA works by increasing the release of neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine.

HOW LONG UNTIL 4 FMA TAKES EFFECT?

The effects of 4FMA begin approximately fifteen minutes after the initial increase in a test subject. As shown in earlier reports, the research chemical has a duration of action of four to six hours. If the experiment were repeated, the effects could last almost a day. This is particularly evident in staying awake for extended periods and experiencing difficulty sleeping. The comedown starts around five hours after intake. A mood dip, often encountered with similar research chemicals, is not demonstrated with 4 FMA. Most studies indicate a recommended dose between 100 and 150 milligrams. Between 70 and 100 mg is considered a light dose, and a medium dose ranges from 100 to 150 mg. Doses above 150 mg are often considered intense.

HOW LONG DOES 4FMA STAY IN THE BLOOD?

There has not yet been extensive research on the detection time of 4-FMA in blood. Since the effects of this research chemical are similar to those of speed and other amphetamines, it is believed that 4-FMA probably remains visible in blood tests for 2 to 3 days. This same time frame is also true for detection in urine, as demonstrated in independent studies. However, the exact duration of its presence in the body can vary based on several factors, including the dose taken, the individual's metabolism and frequency of use. It is important to consider these variables when evaluating the potential effects and risks of 4-FMA.

WHAT IS THE MAIN DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 4-FMP AND 4-FMA?

4-FMP has become illegal in many countries, including the Netherlands. 4-FMA, however, serves as the new variant of this XTC light version. As of 2023, 4 FMA is not illegal, although the government is working on creating a general law to ban NPS. The effects of 4 FMA are comparable to the former 4 FMP. However, 4 FMA appears to resemble the effects of cocaine more than those of XTC. Another difference is that 4FMA is said to be twice as potent as 4FMP. This raises the possibility that the dosages used in your experiment might reach undesirable levels.
